About Us (Sanitaryware Centre)

Established in 1985, Sanitaryware Centre has been servicing the greater Joburg & Pretoria markets for over 35 years! Sanitaryware Centre is part of the larger, Conschef group of companies consisting of: Premier Plumbing Supplies, Unlimited Solar, & Sanitaryware Centre.

We have 3 showrooms available for you to visit, located in Woodmead, Fourways, and Lynwood Ridge. Our showrooms are open Monday – Friday from 8:00 am – 4:30 pm, and until 1:00 pm on Saturdays.

We have been in the business of Plumbing, Sanitary ware, & Solar for decades and are known for selling quality products with excellent service. We have extended our traditional brick & mortar showrooms to include an online store where you can conveniently browse & purchase our products online, and get them delivered, nationwide, to your doorstep.

Use of Site

You may only use this site to browse the content, make legitimate purchases and shall not use this site for any other purposes, including without limitation, to make any speculative, false or fraudulent purchase. This site and the content provided in this site may not be copied, reproduced, republished, uploaded, posted, transmitted or distributed. This website is governed by the laws of South Africa and Conschef (Pty) Ltd chooses as its domicilium citandi et executandi for all purposes under this agreement, whether in respect of court process, notice, or other documents or communication of whatsoever nature in Johannesburg South Africa.

We are committed to protecting your privacy. This privacy policy applies to all the web pages related to this website.

All the information gathered in the online forms on the website is used to personally identify users that subscribe to this service. Pricing

Sanitaryware Centre reserves the right to change and amend pricing at any time.  We reserve the right to cancel any confirmed and paid order if there has been an error in pricing.  A full refund will be issued if we cancel an order due to a pricing error.  If the pricing error is within reasonable ranges, as determined by us, we will endeveavour to honor that price.  All products with an error displaying a price of R0.00 is an error.  Please notify us if you see this so we may correct it immediately.

Pictures

We use a 3rd party for uploading and maintaining our product images.  From time to time there may be an image that isn't representative of the actual product.  We make every effort to ensure the product images are correct, but can not be held liable in the event a picture doesn't match the product ordered.  If the product image is different, you'll be given a full refund.  Some descriptions will note a product's image is differernt to the actual product.  A lot of the time its lifestyle images where a basin is shown with a tap, but the product sold is the basin only.  Wherever we can, we'll try honour what the purchaser inteded, but won't be able to if there is a large monetary difference.

Descriptions

We actively manage the accuracy of our information, and make adjustments as needed. There may be times where the information displayed isn't 100% accurate. Suppliers may change names, descriptions, or specifications without our knowledge.  If we notice a difference in description to the item purchased, we'll notify you before shipment, and confirm all is in order.  There may also be times where there are variations of an available product, at which time, we'll contact you before shipment to confirm the variation you'd like.  If we've made a mistake with the description, we reserve the right to issue a full refund on the purchased item.

The Site may use cookie and tracking technology depending on the features offered. Cookie and tracking technology are useful for gathering information such as browser type and operating system, tracking the number of visitors to the Site, and understanding how visitors use the Site. Product Availability

Lead time is dependent on stock availability. Should we have stock available, orders will be dispatched within 1 working day provided payment is validated/received.

Should the product not be in stock please allow 10 working days plus freight transit time. This will allow for manufacturing and delivery to our warehouse.

Every effort is made to effect shipment of your order timeously however unforeseen circumstances may cause delays. Should we be faced with such an occurrence The Bathroom|STORE will contact you via email and provide a revised shipping schedule.

Delivery Policy

When you click to make a purchase with us legal obligations arise and your right to refund of monies charged to your credit card or paid in any other way agreed by us, are limited by our terms & conditions. You must not make any purchase through this site unless you understand and agree all our terms and conditions. Once payment is made for the purchase, it is deemed that you have read and understood the terms and conditions for such purchase. If you have any queries please contact us before making any purchase for any service through this website.

While the providers will make every effort to have your stock delivered on time they accept no responsibility for delays which are out of their control including but not limited to stock availability, courier company delays or any other delays that may arise as the result of a third party.

Please ensure the correct shipping address is provided from the outset as title and risk will pass to you once the order has left our premises.

Farms, Rural areas, and Townships have additional shipping costs.  Please enquire for a quotation before placing an order.

In-Store Collections

You can collect from any of our stores if you prefer.  There's no additional fees for collections.  Please note, it can take 3-5 working days for your order to be ready for collection.  An email will be sent to you when its ready for collection.  Even if a store has stock, it may not be allocated to our online store, so please wait for a confirmation email confirming your order is ready to be collected.

Damages

Sanitaryware Centre is not liable for any products damaged or lost during shipping. If you received your order damaged, please contact the shipment carrier to file a claim.

If there are any damaged items, you must notify us within 24 hours of receipt of the order, so we may help with the claim.

Please save all packaging materials and damaged goods before filing a claim.

Undeliverable Packages

Occasionally packages may not reach their destiantion due to incorrect address, refusal to accept parcel, or unavailability of receipient. Should this event take place every attempt will be made to contact you to make arrangements for re-shipment, at the buyer’s expense.  If packages are returned to us, we'll refund the order amount less the shipping charge, and any supplier re-stocking fees, if applicable.

Order Processing

Order processing will not begin until we receive a confirmed order and full payment.

If Offline EFT is selected at checkout, payments must be made within 48 hours.  If no payment is received within 48 hrs of ordering, we will cancel the order and notify you.

Refunds/Returns Policy

Should you for any reason wish to cancel your purchase you will be liable for the costs to return the package to our warehouse. You must advise us in writing of your cancellation and any such cancellation must be signed by the person who made the original purchase. The goods must be returned to us undamaged in the original packaging within 30 calendar days. Refunds will only be processed once the goods have been checked and deemed to be in good condition.

All returns are subject to a handling fee ranging from 10-25%, depending on the circumstances.

If we stock the item, a handling fee is not applicable.

All non-stocked items returned to us are subject to our supplier accepting the return.  If the supplier won't accept the return, a refund can not be processed back to the buyer. 

Damaged goods must be reported by email within 24 hours after delivery has taken place. Unless otherwise stated goods are deemed to have been received in good working order.

Shipping charges are non-refundable

If free or reduced shipping was provided, our actual shipping cost will be deducted from the return. This includes when returning in-store.

We do not accept any returns or offer any refunds or returns on the following products

• Toilet seats
• Used items, as determined by us
• Any damaged item, not declared damaged within 24 hours of receipt

Refunds will be issued after we have received and inspected the returned item(s). Refunds will be made in accordance with the original payment method. Please allow 1-2 business days for refunds to reflect after we’ve received your item(s)

Please note: Return shipping can be costly on large items like baths. Please ensure your items’ style and size will be suitable for your installation before ordering.

International customers need to make their own arrangements for returns and should make use of a courier that offers:

1. Shipment tracking
2. Insure your package for safe return and declare the full value of the shipment failing which loss or damage will be for your account.

Payment Options and Pricing

All transactions will be processed in South African Rands (ZAR).

Sanitaryware Centre endeavours to offer you competitive prices on current products; you're total order price will include the price of the purchase plus any applicable sales tax and shipping charges (on the day of shipping).

Pricing in-store and online may differ, we can not honour online pricing in-store.

We reserve the right to cancel an order and provide a refund if pricing is inaccurate.  We endevaour to ensure this doesn't happen, but in the unlikely event it occurs, we reserve this right.

Sanitaryware Centre reserves the right to change pricing & delivery fees at any time without prior notice.

Credit Card

We accept MasterCard and Visa credit cards. If you do not have a credit card please utilise one of the other payment options, or simply log off and return to the site at a later time to complete your order. All of your order details will be saved online under Your Account section available for use whenever you’re ready!  We utlize Paygate to securely process all credit card payments, and do not store any of your credit card details.

Card acquiring and security

Card transactions will be acquired for Conschef (Pty) Ltd via PayGate (Pty) Ltd who are the approved payment gateway for all South African Acquiring Banks. DPO PayGate uses the strictest form of encryption, namely Secure Socket Layer 3 (SSL3) and no Card details are stored on the website. Users may go to www.paygate.co.za to view their security certificate and security policy.

EFT (Electronic Fund Transfer)

One of the most widely used ways of sending money online. Once you have added enough items to your shopping cart, proceed to “Checkout” and follow the order processing instructions. Select the option to pay via Offline EFT. You will then have to load, "Conschef Pty Ltd" as a beneficiary on your internet banking and use the unique order number in the reference line for your payment. This should ensure speedy processing and delivery of your selected products.

Security Policy

1. Paygate process all credit card transactions. All credit card transactions are 128 bit Secure Socket Layers (SSL) encrypted. The company registration documents and the site's registered domain name are checked and verified by Thawte, ensuring the cardholder and merchant that nobody can impersonate Paygate to obtain confidential information.
2. Paygate is committed to providing secure online services. All encryption complies with international standards. Encryption is used to protect the transmission of personal information when completing online transactions. Paygate Internet servers are protected by firewalls and intrusion detection systems.
3. The Merchant does not have access to credit details.
4. Paygate continually reviews and enhances its security in line with technological changes.

Customer details 

Customer details will be stored by Conschef (Pty) Ltd separately from card details which are entered by the client on DPO PayGate’s secure site.

Monitoring

We have the right, but not the obligation, to monitor any activity and content associated with the Website. We may investigate any reported violation of these Conditions or complaints and take any action that we deem appropriate (which may include, but is not limited to, issuing warnings, suspending, terminating or attaching conditions to your access and/or removing any materials from the Website).

Law

The Conditions will be exclusively governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of South Africa whose Courts will have exclusive jurisdiction in any dispute, save that we have the right, at our sole discretion, to commence and pursue proceedings in alternative jurisdictions.

Updating of these Terms and Conditions

We reserve the right to change, modify, add to or remove from portions or the whole of these Terms and Conditions from time to time. Changes to these Terms and Conditions will become effective upon such changes being posted to this Website. I undertake not to copy/duplicate the trademarks and designs directly or indirectly in anyway and understand the legal implications thereof. Should I be found to be in violation of this agreement I understand that I will be held liable for all legal costs incurred by Conschef (Pty) Ltd for any civil action or any legal action deemed necessary against me.
